Digital Marketer Lab Ryan Deiss

I’m excited about Digital Marketer Lab from Ryan Deiss.

What sets Ryan Deiss apart from most of the other Internet marketing gurus is that he is active in many different niche markets but shares what he finds works as a by-product of his success.

You see, Ryan is big on the boring task of testing.

You could do it yourself if you’ve got the time, the mentality, the presence in different markets, the traffic and the imagination to do it…

Or you can piggyback on what Ryan Deiss has done and is willing to share in Digital Marketer Lab (the link takes you to my more detailed review on my Online Profits blog).

I follow three Internet marketers in particular – Rich Schefren, Glenn Livingston and Ryan Deiss – because they’ve consistently delivered high quality information to me. They’ve each got their difficult styles and focus areas.

But Ryan is great at sharing what’s working.

For example I love the Video Sales Letter Formula (affiliate link) which is one of the trainings you get included with Digital Marketer Lab and is all you need unless you’re going into videos in a big way.

Learning about what’s working is what Digital Marketer Lab is all about.

As Ryan Deiss explains in a very long video, the Internet is changing and what it takes to succeed in an Internet business is also changing. The video is intended to shock.

I’m not sure whether his horror stories will come true – e.g. Google insisting you go through an agency to use Adwords – but it might. When you see the statistics, you can see why Google can afford to focus on the really, really big accounts and ignore little guys like you and me who think spending $1,000 each month is a big investment.

There’s an exit pop-up on Digital Marketer which gets you access to some more interesting videos from Ryan including his embarrassing mistake, ideas on great squeeze pages and one on pricing products and finding the sweet spot.

I’ve written a lot about Digital Marketer Lab on my Online Profits blog – much to my frustration it’s not coming up in Google yet although it is in Bing and Yahoo. At least I’ve had a chance to look around the membership site which is well organised.

I’ve already mentioned the Video Sales Letter Formula training included in Digital Marketing Lab and it also two other big selling training products from Ryan Deiss – Facebook Ad Power and GMail Advertising (both affiliate links). Both are excellent and on their own represent great reasons to give Digital Marketer Lab a try for at least one month.

Interestingly at this time, my affiliate sales are three annuals to every one monthly payment which shows what a great offer Ryan has put together on the annual deal.

I’ve become increasingly selective about what I post onto this blog. I didn’t have any hesitation with Digital Marketer Lab because I’ve been lucky enough to have free access to its forerunner, the Total Access Club which also gave you the chance to look over Ryan’s shoulder and see what’s working. That’s now been turned into access into the Digital Marketer Lab – thanks guys.

Digital Marketer Lab is going to be even better Total Access Club.

Just signed up, and first impressions (without watching any video) were kind of lack luster.

I’m having trouble finding some of the information talked about in the video. Like what colors convert better… and the SOPs on SEO aren’t that exhaustive.

But I think once the new Split Test report comes out it will garner much more value.

Gregg, thanks for the super-fast comment which shows how quickly Google can index pages.

Personally I think that’s a bit harsh on Digital Marketer Lab but as you say, it’s first impressions and you haven’t delved in deep yet. There’s plenty of content to keep you busy.

As you’re an SEO expert, I’m sure you could go into much more detail but from my perspective, I find that one of Ryan Deiss’s strengths is that he tells me enough to take action without overwhelming me.

I think that avoiding the overwhelm factor is important. There are so many different things that can be done in Internet marketing and, from my experience, many of the gurus’ courses are padded so they take many hours to consume. With Ryan I get what I need to know in a short, concise, punchy way.

As a Total Access Club member, I’ve seen a couple of versions of the 43 Split Tests report and it is fascinating what makes a difference in conversions – and sometimes it is surprising. Even if you don’t agree and would prefer not to follow the tips, it does give you something to split test against.

Giovanny, I’m surprised about this but I don’t expect Digital Marketer Lab to be closed for long. I suspect that they’ve either
    a) find some technical glitch which needs to be corrected; or
    b) they are setting up some kind of A/B test, perhaps on the video which is certainly one of the longest I’ve seen. Interesting stuff though.

I expect Digital Marketer Lab to be back soon.

Giovanny, I’ve now had an email from Ryan Deiss saying that Digital marketer is open again.

I don’t know how long for. Unlike the Total Access Club which was restricted to 1,000 members I haven’t seen a limit placed on the new membership.

This may be good because it means Digital Marketer Lab will be open for more people or it may be bad becaue Ryan Deiss could close it again at any time.

I’m seeing traffic coming to this blog with searches like “How do I become a Digital Marketer affiliate?” or “How can I be a Ryan Deiss affiliate?”

I was invited but I have a link for you
    https://touchstone.infusionsoft.com/go/snd-aff/a271/
It’s for affiliates to invite other people and doesn’t include any details of what you’re joining.

If you go back to take a look at the links in my blog, you’ll see that they are also touchstone.infusionsoft.com

    Paul,

I also follow Rich Schefren and Glenn Livingston’s work for several years and recently purchased and went through the Ryan Deiss’ Let’s Get Social and Online Arbitrage (both were great!)…but when I listened to the webinar I didn’t really “get” what would be different then Rich and Glenn’s advice…

I can understand that Melissa. Glad we like the same experts.
Ryan was laying it on thick with his everything changing pitch for Digital Marketer Lab.

Basically the idea is that he is sharing his best practices that all the different niches he works in with members of Digital Marketer Lab. This includes up to date traffic generation tactics as new things are developed – I bet he’s working on something for Google Remarketing – as well as important conversion tips based on what is producing the best results.

There’s other stuff in Digital Marketer Lab too like Idea Incubator.
